Final Reflection

Armando Aguilar English 1100012/2/25 With my experiences in English 11000, it was one of the best classes that actually helped a lot to become a better writer. There were a lot of spaces where we could express how we want to improve our assignments and get ourselves some goals to achieve the best we could. We could show how much we need to appreciate the things that our professor did for us. It was amazing that we were able to have an amazing professor to help us and give us space to make us heard and what we struggle with. Of course we could manage to do things on our own but we have Brightspace to explain our tasks so it will not be too repetitive. The amount of doubt we have can be an opportunity to practice what we could grow from and what things that should be included that should not be forgotten or excluded. My English 11000 taught me how to write with lots of voice and heart. This shows how much our class really cares about how we felt to write a topic and write them down with heart and soul. We all think about what are we going to write about. The most effective way to brainstorm these ideas is through stages of what aspects of writing can break down texts and experience as we are connecting with this with our experiences. This shows that writing an argumentative essay about a topic that we think that should be talked about is important to realize since we should know that we are not the only people to face these problems and making sure everyone has different tastes on their own opinions based on the topic we have. Of course there are some things that we forget to include, but that’s just the way writers improve. We see potential when we doubt ourselves. The best we could do is to think outside the box and see what other people would feel if they read our essays. My English class taught me how to contribute to unique ways to understand other topics. This shows that we can have time to talk with other people of how we would react to their essays and how they would react to our essays so they can help us connect and improve our mutual information and communicate with different perspectives on our essays.

This is good because this can give us an opportunity to practice not to judge them based on their strengths and weaknesses, rather we could contribute what they want to implement into their essays. It is important that judgment can bring down someone’s confidence and it may lead them to lose their ability to think the same way as they used to. We get more cautious about what we want to say in our essays. As for me, I was able to maintain a decent mood with minor issues that could help me to develop myself with a stronger mindset. Some of my progress may have some mistakes, but that’s okay. At least I did realize my mistakes and try to improve them and gave myself some time to comprehend what these challenges could have been overcome. The problem I have with this essay is the sources I use since I feel like it may not be enough to back up my statement, but at least they do have some key points and I did cite them as they could help back up my essay. Although they may be biased, they can still be helpful since they have similar things that I have. My professor wanted us to keep improving and not put too much pressure into our writing. Instead we could do whatever it takes to make our essay adequate for submission and at least recognize our efforts. The hardest part of Phase 2 is how we were supposed to peer review with other people while some people may not be comfortable sharing their essays. I shared mine with peers and while they were reviewing my essay, I have a doubt that my essay wasn’t the best,.but at least I tried. The peer reviews were successful and we didn’t get into conflict. We were repeating to each other. We did like each other’s writing. At least they tried too. My English class taught me how to get out of my shell since I had a lot of space where I was able to connect with lots of topics and show my professor that I’m working hard to complete my essay with heart and soul. I have contributed a lot, this shows that I have been trying my hardest and made it into a masterpiece. This has made my professor very proud and recognized me as a strong writer. English class has been interesting since we get to know each other by voice in our assignments. The amount of pressure is an opportunity to practice a lot of challenges and develop new skills and create an adequate mindset. Some of these assignments did help a lot by overcoming mistakes and became more focused and locked in into the course. This has been an amazing journey and the professor has been amazing towards students. I want to become more like my professor. The class has been difficult but also amazing. Thanks to the students and the profess
